Biography

Dr. Lakhveer Kaur, an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, India. She did her graduation and Post-graduation from Panjab University. She has earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Thapar University. Before joining Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, she has worked as an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Noida. She has been Awarded with Institute of Physics (IOP) Trusted Reviewer Status in 2023. Most significantly, she has been listed in well reputed "World Top 2% Scientists-2023" announced by Elsevier and Stanford University, United States.  October 2023. Also, She has been awarded with Most Cited Article Award by IOP (Institute of Physics), using citations recorded in Web of Science. She is handling a research project based on Mathematical Modelling, funded by National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) DAE, Govt. of India as Principal Investigator.  She has teaching and research experience of more than nine years and has published more than 50 research papers in various international Indexed journals with high impact factor and published one Book, based on symmetry methods for differential equations Her Primary area of interest includes dynamical Study of nonlinear partial differential equations with Variable coefficients or their systems governing some physical phenomena from Mathematical Physics and General Relativity by using, Symmetry methods, expansion methods. She has guided one student for successful completion of Ph.D and three more students are pursuing Ph.D under her guidance. Moreover, she has delivered expert talks at national and international universities and visited foreign universities for various research collaborations. She is an active reviewer for many reputed journals like Applied mathematics and computation, CNCNS, Journal of Engineering Mathematics, Nonlinear Dynamics, Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical and many more. Despite having many academic and administrative activities, she is actively associated with several professional bodies in different capacities such as life member of Indian Mathematical Society (IMS), India, member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG), life member of Ramanujan Mathematical Society (RMS) and few more. She has vast experience of organizing several conferences and workshops at national and international level, being funded by national agencies.

  • Most Cited Article Award by IOP (Institute of Physics): One of my research paper “Dynamical analysis of lump solutions for (3+1) dimensional generalized KP-Boussinesq equation and Its dimensionally reduced equations” comes under the category of one of the most cited articles from India published across the entire IOP (Institute of Physics) Publishing journal, (one of the most reputed and peer reviewed publication) portfolios in the past three years (2017 to 2019), using citations recorded in Web of Science.
