EcoQuence is the Environment Hub of JIIT, Noida, Sector-62 open to students of all branches. The college as an institution and its students are interested in sustainability, both out of a desire for ecological responsibility and because of the simple fact that saving resources also saves money.

Students are concerned about climate change in theory, and they can do a lot about it on an inpidual level. The EcoQuence Hub aims to help the students to generate a more active interest in the environment by using both technical and creative ways.

As their primary responsibility, EcoQuence communicates regularly with students in the college about the “whys and hows” of sustainable living, on campus and beyond. This will be done through activities, events, guest lectures, competitions and other methods.

Environment Day-SAVE SOIL Awareness Program: The objective of this program was to educate and equip students on the dire condition of soil and to brief about the Save Soil Movement. This program was conducted by Isha volunteers – Mati Vakta’s with one hour session which enabled the students - the youth of our nation, to participate and take the movement forward and make it reach to the masses. This was as an extension of Environment Day program which is observed on 5^th June every year and involved Department of Biotechnology and Ecoquence hub members.
