Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida was established in the year 2001 and
has been constantly ranked amongst the top engineering college in Delhi NCR. JIIT is
ranked as 60th best in the country among all Govt. /Pvt. Engineering Institutions and
recognized the best in NCR & 3rd best in North India among Pvt. Engineering
Institutions by NIRF (MHRD) ranking 2016.
About Department
The Department of Biotechnology at JIIT, NOIDA, established in 2002, remains
committed to provide research-informed teaching and learning, and vibrant R & D
environment. ‘Centre for Emerging Diseases’ at Department of Biotechnology addresses
the questions of molecular mechanism/pathogenesis/host pathogen interactions of
emerging and re-emerging viral and bacterial pathogens and life style diseases such as
cancer, cardiovascular and CNS disorders.
