Biography
Dr. Imran Rasheed earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Jharkhand, in 2021, following the completion of his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Applications at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. Before joining the Department of Computer Applications at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Imran served in the same role at KL University, Vaddeswaram, Guntur, for three years. Additionally, he was a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Computer Applications at PK Roy Memorial College, BBMK University, Dhanbad, from 2019 to 2021. Dr. Imran’s research interests encompass Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning. He has published eight research articles in leading international journals and top-tier conferences. Dr. Imran also possesses valuable industry experience, having worked as a Smart Class Coordinator at Educomp Solutions Ltd., Gurugram, from 2012 to 2013, and as a Programmer at Raython Technologies, Delhi, from 2006 to 2007. His university administrative roles have included positions such as Course Coordinator, Hostel Committee Member, and Planning and Development In-Charge. Currently, Dr. Imran serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications at JIIT, Noida, India.
