Biography
Prof. Shweta Srivastava received her B.Tech degree from IPST, Chitrakoot in 1998 and Ph.D degree from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India in 2002. She was a faculty member in Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, from 2002 till 2014.
She joined Jaypee Institute of Information Technology in July 2014. Presently she is Professor and Head of the Department in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.
She is an active researcher in the field of microstrip antennas, active antennas, smart antennas, millimeter wave antennas, on chip antennas, microwave integrated circuits, substrate integrated waveguides, RF filter design etc. She has several International and National journal publications in reputed journals including IEEE transactions. Besides she has presented papers in several National and International conferences/ seminars in India and abroad. She was also awarded SERC fast track project for young Scientist by Deptt. of Science and Technology, Government of India.
She has 13 Ph.D's awarded under her guidance and 3 are ongoing. She is a reviewer of several reputed National and International journals like IEEE transactions, IEEE Wireless Propagation Letters, Progress in Electromagnetic Research, Wireless Personal Communication, Journal of Institution of Engineers etc.

- Awarded IETE – Lal C Verman Award 2023 in recognition for outstanding contribution in the field of standardization, quality control and precision measurements during the last 10 (ten) years.
- Elected as a Fellow of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers in February 2022.
- Elected as a Senior member of IEEE.
- Awarded the prestigious "Smt. Ranjana Pal Memorial Award 2016" by Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers for significant contribution in the field of RF and Microwave, Electromagnetics and Antennas.
- Awarded as "Outstanding Woman in Engineering" by Centre for Advanced Research and Design, Venus International Foundation, India in March 2018.
- Outstanding faculty of the year 2022 for the center for education growth and research.
