What is the Infrastructure available at JIIT?
JIIT has a state-of-the-art fully networked and environment conditioned infrastructure having Smart lecture theatres, Class rooms (61), well equipped laboratories (71) and IT infrastructure with Wifi facility and an auditorium with seating capacity 2000 approx.
The Library or Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is well-stocked with Indian and International books, E-Journals,printed Journals/magazines covering all areas of Engineering, Management and Science.

What are the approvals & accreditation n of JIIT?
JIIT is deemed to be University under section (3) UGC Act 1956. JIIT is AICTE & UGC approved and NAAC Accredited. For accreditations click on link https://www.jiit.ac.in/accreditations
What are the programs offered by JIIT?
Are all the programs offered by JIIT Full Time?
Yes. (Only PhD Program is in Full Time and Part Time mode)
Whether the Degree awarded by JIIT recognized in India and Abroad?
Yes.
Which foreign universities does JIIT have an MOU?

How to apply or fill the application form for admission?
For online, click on link getadmissions.com/jaypee and fill the form and pay application fee online through UPI/Card/Net Banking.
For off-line process- Application forms are available at admission counter of JIIT.
Can I make any changes after submitting the Application/Admission forms?
Yes, for online change in personal details write to talktous@getadmissions.comfor any changes in application form upto the last date of application.

Does JIIT conduct an entrance exam for admissions?
Entrance exam is conducted for the following programs:
UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test):
- BTech (Lateral Entry)
- BSc (CS)
- BBA
- BCA
PGET (Postgraduate Entrance Test):
- MSc
- MCA
- MTech
- MBA (GD&PI)
Do you have any reserved seats?
Yes, 15% seats for SC and 7.5% seats for ST are reserved in all programs. No other reservation.
Does JIIT have a defence quota in admission?
No, (it is available in our JUIT Waknaghat, JUET Guna and JU Anoopshahr.)
Is there separate quota for J&K students?
Yes, for Wards of Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir valley for admission at JIIT Noida as per MHRD letter No. 3-4/2017-NER dated October 15, 2019.
Is there any Capitation fees/Management quota for admission?
No. there is no Capitation fees/Management quota for admission.

Does JIIT have a tie up with banks for Education Loan facility?
No, however, required documents needed by banks for the education loan are provided by the University to the students.Almost all National and Private banks are located in the near vicinity of Campus.
Is there any fee discount for sibling?
No.
Does JIIT provide placement assistance to the students and which companies visit for campus placement?
Yes, JIIT through it’s dedicated Training and Placement Cell provides full assistance for placement. A number of companies visit JIIT for placement of students. For details please visit http://www.jiit.ac.in/student-placement .
Is laptop provided by the University?
Laptop is not provided by the University. However,students are advised to bring their own laptops.
Is there hostel facility in the campus?
Yes,Separate hostel facility for boys and girls is available on twin sharing basis.
Which sports activities are available at JIIT?
Outdoor sports facilities includes Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball & Football.
Indoor sports facility includes Billiards, Swimming Pool (separate for boys and girls), Badminton, Chess, Carrom board, Two glass backed squash courts, TT tables and well equipped gym facility separate for boys and girls.
What clubs/hubs are available in JIIT?
There are various clubs and hubs for dance, theatre, music, painting, quiz, programming, robotics, yoga and health, photography, etc.

Is bus facility available to Sector 128 campus?
Bus facility is available on payment basis to students from Sector 62 to Sector 128 campus.
Is inter college transfer permissible between Jaypee Universities ?
No, candidates cannot take transfers within Jaypee Universities.
What is the refund policy on cancellation of admission?
JIIT follows refund policy as per UGC norms.
Can we apply for BTech on the basis of 10+2 and JEE mains both?
Yes you can apply, on the basis of both, by filling separate forms available in the website.
Is there any scholarship for UG/PG programs?
Yes, we offer scholarship in various courses. (refer admission procedures on website for full details)
What is Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme?
As per AICTE norms 1% students are admitted under TFW Scheme to Btech programs. Admission is as per merit. For eligibility details refer to supplementary brochure.
Does JIIT have the counselling in offline or online mode?
Counselling for admission is in offline mode at JIIT Noida.
If I miss the counselling, do I get a second chance?
No, you are required to attend the counselling on the specified date and time.
Can anyone attend the counselling on behalf of the candidate?
No, it is mandatory for the candidate to attend the counselling.
Can I change my branch in 2nd Year based on my performance in 1st Year?
No.
Is there an upgradation process?
Yes, regular upgradation is carried till the last date of admission.
Can I exit in fourth year if I am studying in Integrated BTech 5 yearprogramme?
No, you need to finish the complete 5 year academic curriculum to be eligible for award of degree.
Is there any NRI Quota?
Yes, there is NRI/NRI Sponsored category.
Can I get the branch in BTech as per my choice?
Yes, branch is allocated as per the merit and choice of the candidate.

Is there lateral entry/ direct admission to 2nd year at JIIT?
Yes, Lateral entry/ Inter University Migration is only to 2nd year BTech of Diploma/BSc/BVoc/DVoc are eligible to apply for lateral entry and candidates currently pursuing 1st year BTech in AY 2023-24 areeligible to apply for Inter-University Migration to 2nd year BTech.
