Biography
Dr. Monika Suri is a distinguished academic leader and seasoned professional with over 27 years of experience in education and industry. Currently serving as the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences & HOD (HSS) at JIIT Noida, her previous role as Associate Dean, Academic at AURO University for nearly 11 years highlighted her leadership in managing academic programs and driving institutional development. At AURO, she also led the mentorship program and chaired the AURO Women Development Cell. She served as Program Coordinator for Behavioral Science Across Amity University Noida for over 10 years, and her professional experience extends to roles at Amity University Dubai Campus, Punjab Technical University, & Premier Industries like Maruti Udyog Limited. Dr. Suri's educational qualifications include a PhD in Management, an MBA in Marketing, and additional credentials in PGDM and PGDBM. Her academic achievements are further validated by her qualification in UGC-NET in Management. She is AIMA Certified BIZLAB Trainer & Globally Certified trainer for Marketing 3.0. She is honored as an “Ambassador for Peace” by the Universal Peace Federation, a testament to her commitment to fostering positive change and promoting peace. As a member of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) since 2006, Dr. Suri has guided countless interns, contributing to their professional development and practical experience. Her lifetime membership in the Indian Science Congress reflects her ongoing involvement in academic and research communities. Dr. Suri has an impressive record of national and international publications in Marketing, Life skills & Behavioral Science. Her book, “Making of Ideal Global Professional,” and her contributions to platforms like Silicon India and Education Insight, highlight her thought leadership and expertise. She has contributed in filing IPR & has 16 Registered Copyrights in the field of General Management, Marketing, Life skills & Product Development. Her expertise is recognized globally, with acknowledgment & awards from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) Gujarat for her project on employee engagement. Dr. Suri is a sought-after speaker and trainer, having delivered keynote addresses and workshops at top institutions such as the Jammu University Business School, Punjab Technical University, Confederation of India Industries, TIE, Chamber of Commerce etc. Her training programs are extensive, covering corporate houses like ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel, Essar Steel, ONGC, Marriott, AMUL as well as military and paramilitary forces including ITBP, BSF, BPR&D, and CRPF. She has also conducted life skills training for Delhi Police and Rajasthan Police in preparation for the Commonwealth Games. Her training extends to corporate houses and military forces, demonstrating her versatility and impact. She has contributed to Lajpour Jail Inmates training programs under the project titled Parivarthan Ki Pathshala-A transformative Journey for Jail Inmates in state of Gujarat. She also contributed as Honorary member for Global Citizens committee for Government Advisory firm SAPIO Analytics & as Advisory member of SPAA (Sports Academy association of India). Her drive, enthusiasm, and dedication continue to inspire and influence her students and colleagues, making her a highly respected leader in her field.
