Biography
Dr. Narinder Kaur is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Materials Science and Engineering, JIIT Noida from Aug 2024. She has completed her M.Sc. (2007) and MTech (2012) from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university Delhi respectively. She has 8 years of teaching experience in different engineering colleges such as WCTM Gurgaon, ACEM Faridabad and KIET group of institutions Ghaziabad. She has completed her Ph.D. (2023) from IIT Delhi.
Research expertise
Dr. Narinder has research experience in the experimental material science with research of synthesis and characterization of 2D materials and their heterojunctions for hydrogen production. She has achieved photo response over the entire UV-Visible region by formation of 2D-3D heterojunctions of In2S3, WO3 and ZnO thin films. She has research expertise in PEC water splitting and photodetectors. She also has experience in thermoelectric and gas sensors.
