M. Tech. Ph.D. IIT, BHU

Biography

Dr. R.K. Dwivedi have done M.Sc. in Physics from CSJM University, Kanpur followed by M.Tech. in Materials Technology in 1994 and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 1999. After completing Ph.D., Dr. Dwivedi worked as a post doc fellow in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, IIT Bombay, Mumbai. Subsequently, he joined JIIT Noida in 2005 as a senior lecturer and now working as a professor in the Department of Physics and Materials Science & Engineering. My research area is to synthesize and characterize advanced materials having Perovskite oxide structures in the field of ferroelectrics, multiferroics, piezoelectric and dielectric capacitors which includes simulation and modelling of MEMS devices for Energy Harvesting applications. Dr. Dwivedi has completed three sponsored research projects from DST, DRDO and AICTE and one national project on MEMS from ADA as a principal/co-investigator.  I have guided several B.Tech. student’s projects and M.Tech. dissertations. Dr. Dwivedi has supervised six Ph.D. students and a few are working at present. He has published more than 100 research papers in the journals of National and International repute and International conference proceedings. Currently, Dr. Dwivedi is a life member of Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) and Institute of Smart Structures and Systems (ISSS), IISc Bangalore.
