JPEG-Photography Hub

JPEG (Jaypee Photographic Enthusiasts Guild) is the photography society of JIIT Noida. Aim of this hub is to provide basic learning in the field of photography by introducing to various photography tools, gadgets (like DSLR, tripods, various lenses etc.) and related skills. Often the hub conducts workshops to brush up editing skills and provide basic learning to new comers by introducing various techniques. The hub also conducts photo-walks in and around Delhi so that the student photographers can implement the learned photographic skills in real life. The JPEG hub coordinators and members (student photographers) often involved in capturing the photographs of different events (technical, cultural, international conferences, sports, etc.) conducted throughout the year at JIIT. The JPEG Hub not only is responsible to cover others events, but the hub also conduct events of out own. Some of these are

• 30-30: An event where you need to find and capture a particular location in the campus.
• Just Do It: A task is given to you, which you have to do and record it.
• Snap Story: It is required to form a story with a limited number of snaps.
• Weekly theme based competitions are also conducted so that one can implement what they have learnt. 
• Photography Exhibition Gallery based on various themes.
