Biography

Dr. Shikha Kumari is an accomplished academic and researcher with a Ph.D. from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. Her doctoral research focused on the needs and adjustments of elderly individuals living alone in the National Capital Region. With over a decade of experience in industry, teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development, Dr. Kumari has served in various capacities at JIIT, including as Guest Faculty and Teaching Associate.

In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Kumari holds a Master’s in Management and a Bachelor's in Management. She has completed specialized training in qualitative research methods and business communication, and has published in Scopus-indexed journals on topics such as active aging, societal sustainability, and the challenges faced by elderly women in India.

Dr. Kumari has been a key participant in national and international workshops and seminars on themes like gender sensitization, elderly care, and research methodologies. She remains dedicated to fostering holistic education and contributing to the well-being of marginalized communities through both academic and applied research.
