PHD PROGRAMME IN MATHEMATICS
From the inception, the Department has a great passion for research and development. In their pursuit for research, the faculty members have covered a vast area such as Fuzzy Topology, Hydrodynamic Stability, Fixed Point Theory, Computational Continuum Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Information & Coding Theory, Soft Computing, Numerical Methods, Exact Solutions & Symmetries for Nonlinear Systems, Image Processing, Queueing Theory, Approximation Theory and so on.
The entire teaching faculty is actively engaged in research in their respective fields and a significant number of research papers are being published every year in the various journals of repute.
There are two ongoing research projects funded by government agencies.
