Biography

Richa Gupta has an experience of 14 Years. Richa Gupta received her Ph.D. Degree from JIIT, Noida, India in the year 2013 and M.Tech in Information Systems from IIT, Kanpur, India in 2005. She obtained her B.Tech degree in ECE from KIET, Ghaziabad, India in 2003, with a special acknowledgement for being the University topper of B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. She is a distinction holder in her entire academic career. Since August 2007, she has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, JIIT Noida. Prior to this, she has worked with a USA based research company ‘ATC Labs, Noida’ for 2 years.

She has published several research papers in International Journals and presented many in International Conferences. She is a Fellow member of ‘The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE)’, a Life member of ‘The Institution of Engineers, India (IEI)’ and a Life member of ‘Indian Society for Technical Education’. She has been associated with research and development in the field of Multimedia Communications, Denoising in Image Processing, Document Image Processing, Variable Length Error Correcting Codes.

Hub In-charge of Creative and Innovation Cell in Electronics (CICE) Hub:  Hub In-charge of CICE Hub for academic year 2022-23 and 2023-2024.

About CICE: Creativity and innovation cell in electronics is hub of core electronics department. Not only we teach the student about several extreme useful components of electronics, PCB fabrication to develop microcontroller board like Arduino and AVR but also, we redound them to develop some eminence idea to outbid their knowledge toward forging some excellent project in the future. We believe in excellence so apart from workshops we also espouse the student in their personal learning and project making throughout the year. We acquaint the students with practical uses of the Electronics gadgets which help the students to solidify their concepts which is exceedingly necessary in making electronics projects including their minor and major projects of 3rd and 4th year. We usually organise 3-4 workshops and a technical fest of the electronics department ‘Vidyut’ in one academic year. The list of events organised in last 2 years are as follows:
